Birdathon is Eastside Audubon’s  biggest fund-raising event of the year and is held throughout the month of May.  It is a truly unique fundraiser.  It’s also lots of fun.

What is Birdathon?

In 2009, we raised more than $18,000; our goal this year is $25,000. Just to make it fun and challenging for you, set your own goal for how much money you think you can raise.

Get involved!
It's easy!

Whether you're a serious, casual or beginning birder, you can take part in Birdathon.  We have lots of ways you can be involved and help our chapter raise money.

1.  Birdathon Teams

Step up to the ultimate commitment.

Will your team qualify for the much-coveted perpetual trophies.  Or will you receive the adulation of your fellow Birdathoners?  See Birdathon Awards.

2.   Other Birdathon Events

All field trips and special events during May are Birdathon events and each has a “donation” associated with it.

3.   Direct Donation

Sponsor a Birdathon Team or team member by making a Direct Donation.

Tips for Finding Donors and Raising Money

Where Does the Money Go?

Need help?

The Birdathon Committee promotes participation in Birdathon, including recruiting team leaders, team members and donors.  It also assists team leaders in training, scheduling, recruiting team members and soliciting donors.  Finally, the committee prepares materials for team leaders and members to use in their Birdathon participation.  For more information, call the office at 425-576-8805 or email us at office@eastaudubon.org.
