IMBD at Marymoor Park
On May 9 we'll be celebrating International Migratory Bird Day at Marymoor Park. We'll have bird walks, a native plant walk, displays, kid's activities, a family bird walk, scopes for close-up viewing of the active Osprey nest and an information booth about our Eastside Audubon chapter activities.
Schedule of Events:
- Kid's Activities : 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Bird Walks: 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Family Bird Walk: 4:00 p.m.
- Native Plant Walk: 3:30 p.m.
- Bird Scopes: 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Come celebrate the miracle of bird migration and learn about the hundreds of miles some birds travel every year just to mate and nest. This is also a great opportunity to see all the work our volunteers have done on the Audubon BirdLoop - 2 new interpretive kiosks, 5 new interpretive signs, the new boardwalk extension and the multitude of areas restored from blackberries and Scotch broom to native plants.
Come join us and bring the kids, neighbors, and friends!
