Juanita Bay Park

Juanita Bay Park (Kirkland, Washington) offers many opportunities for up-close views of a variety of wildlife in several types of environment. The 144-acre park provides habitat for songbirds, waterfowl, raptors, shorebirds, amphibians, turtles, beavers, and other small mammals. Interpretive signs are located throughout the park for self-guided tours. Juanita Bay Park features paved trails and several boardwalks through marshland to the lakeshore.

Notes:

Interpretive tours of this wildlife habitat are conducted by volunteer Juanita Bay Park Rangers on the first Sunday of each month, starting out from the parking lot at 1 p.m. Tours last approximately one hour and take place rain or shine. Bring binoculars. No registration is required.

Eastside Audubon birding walks are the third Tuesday morning of the month. Start time varies by time of year; please check our calendar. An Eastside Audubon member who is also an Eastside Ranger leads this relaxed walk to look for any birds in the area. Bring binoculars and meet in the parking lot. No registration required.
