This work party will be dedicated to the life and work of Sunny Walter, who last week died suddenly, leaving a huge hole in the life of Eastside Audubon.  A major task of this work party will be to plant bare root plants in and around the East Meadow.  We'll also plant a tree in honor of all the work Sunny has done for birds, for conservation, for the State of Washington, for EAS, and for all the lives she touched in so many ways.

Tim McGruder will also be installing some bird nest boxes and may need some help.

After the work party, Ella Ellman will lead a native plant walk through the BirdLoop project area, identifying native plants and how they benefit the ecosystem, including native birds.

Come enjoy a Saturday morning working with friends, getting down in the dirt, working to restore native habitat, and honoring our friend and colleague Sunny Walter.  We hopa many will turn out as we remember Sunny.

Bring clippers and gloves, and dress for the weather.

Also brings snacks and water. Park in Parking Lot G and follow the signs to the work parties.

Free parking passes are provided for volunteers.
