Visit the heron colony at Medina Park to photograph great blue herons on their nests and ring-necked ducks, scaups, and wigeon on the pond below.

We will then travel to Renton to visit Coulon Park and the Cedar River outflow. We expect to photograph goldeneyes, buffleheads and gulls - perhaps an eagle.

Our third stop is at the Black River heronry where we will see more than 50 great blue herons on their nest plus red-tail hawks, bushtits, black-capped
chickadees, both kinglets, song and fox sparrows.

Contact Caren Park at  carenp@totalise.co.uk to find out meeting place.
