This is a unique experience for kids to learn about bird watching and see a wonderful habitat just 15 minutes from home. This is a restored landfill and has been managed since 1999 by the Center for Urban Horticulture.

Please call to preregister (or sign up online). Limit 10 kids. We’ll meet at the parking lot to the entrance of this area. Search online for “Montlake Fill” or call/email me for directions.  Leader: Marlene Meyer, mjmwriter@igc.org, 425-891-5864.

Please bring $30 in cash or a check made out to Eastside Audubon for Birdathon donation, lunch and water, and binoculars. If you don’t have binoculars, let me know and we can lend you a pair.
