Join us for a wildflower hike around the Naches Peak Loop, 3.5 miles, 500 ft elev gain.  We will explore alpine meadows with picturesque little tarns, and see lupine, Indian paintbrush, shooting stars, beargrass, and other wildflowers.  Birds and butterflies also.  Great views of Mt. Rainier on the second half.  Nice slow pace - 1/2 mile per hour.

Wear good walking shoes or boots.  Bring plenty of water, lunch, extra snacks, extra clothing (for emergencies), rain gear, bug juice, and sunscreen.  Bring plant books and binoculars.  Meet before 7:00 a.m. at the Wilburton P&R, Bellevue.
