Climate Change Common Sense

Join Eastside Audubon and Seattle Audubon for an informative evening about impacts of climate change in the Northwest and the “common sense” aspect of it all--in contrast to uninformed hysteria or defeatist apathy.

Brid Nowlan of the Washington Invasive Species Coalition and Audubon Washington will explain local environmental impacts from climate change.

Keynote speaker State Representative Deb Eddy will explore the connection between transportation and energy, and climate change in Washington State.

Dr. Jonathan Harrington, author of The Climate Diet. How You Can Cut Carbon, Cut Costs and Save the Planet will explain ways that individuals can make simple changes with significant, measurable results in a step-by-step presentation.

Doors open at 6:00 PM with an open house featuring local environmental groups. The program begins at 6:30.
