DESCRIPTION:(Tuesday) - October 21\, 2008\n\nWhidbey Island is a great
  birding location any time of the year. We will take the ferry from Mu
 kilteo and work the passage\, and then look at forest\, wetland\, mars
 h\, salt water\, grasslands\, and rocky edges. We'll be searching out 
 loons\, grebes\, alcids\, waterfowl\, raptors\, shorebirds\, and passe
 rines as we work our way the length of the island. If we have time we 
 will stop at the Stanwood sewer ponds on the way home. Come prepared f
 or any type of weather\, bring lunch and fluids. Spotting scope helpfu
 l. Meet before 7 a.m. at south end of Kingsgate P&R. Passenger cost/pe
