2011 Christmas Bird Count

The 2011 Christmas Bird Count will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011.

Count Participants

Check out where the Christmas Bird Count Areas are and who the team leaders are. If you are interested in going on one of the counts please call or email the team leader for more information and/or to sign up for a count area.

Team Leaders

Team leaders will find maps, driving directions, recording count forms and sign-up sheets on the Christmas Bird Count Areas page.

Post-count Dinner

The 2011 Christmas Bird Count potluck supper will be at the Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church at 308 - 4th Ave. South in Kirkland; our entrance is on State St.  The potluck will be at 5:30 pm Saturday, December 17.  Please call the Audubon office if you plan to come:  425-576-8805.  The dish to bring is determined by the first letter of your last name, as follows:

A - G:   dessert

H - O:   main dish, marked  as "with meat", "without meat"

P - Z:    salad  

Bread and beverage are provided.   After the meal the results of the eight CBC teams will be tallied.  Please come for all this fun!
