Our Conservation Committee is constantly working on issues important to the birds and environment in our local area, and around the world. Here you'll find information on these issues, and other items of interest to our members.

Why a Name Change at Juanita Bay?: Eastside Audubon has long been involved with Juanita Bay Park - even before it was a Park. In 1985, when it was suggested that the Seahawks training facility be built on the site, EAS members and other nature lovers stopped the project from going any further.
St. Edwards State Park: Development is being considered for St. Edwards State Park. In order to preserve this beautiful park, we are monitoring and participating in the evaluation process.
