Brian Gershon Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Fund for College Students

In 2004, our Board of Directors set up the Brian Gershon Scholarship Fund. Brian was a long-time Board Member who brought us into the electronic age, developing our first web page in 1997.  At the time the scholarship fund was set up, our Board of Directors committed to supplement the grant up to $500 per year

Brian received a master's degree in Environment and Community at Antioch University Seattle and has since committed his skills to community development and lessening the impact of business on the environment through his work with the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies, and through his own business RagingWeb.com.

The scholarship is awarded to an Eastside senior high school student who has demonstrated a commitment to science with special emphasis on the environment and who plans to pursue these interests at the college level.
