Our volunteers do terrific work on the Eastside - just take a stroll through our website to see all the things we are involved in. This is great news, but as with all good things, we want to do more – and more good work means more funding and more people.
We have launched a Membership Campaign to introduce ourselves and our organization to other Eastsiders who enjoy getting outdoors to see birds and nature or perhaps want to join with others to save the environment or educate youth about the natural world.
Our goal is to grow our local
chapter membership to 1200 by December 2009.
That’s 25 new people each month –
and we need YOU to help!
Our Membership Campaign is the most effective place for you to help.
And you can have fun and
win prizes in the process!
Bring a Guest to Program Night
- Bring a guest (or two or three) to Program Night
- Or....be at the church at 6:30 in time for the Activity Fair and let us know you are available. When an unaccompanied guest arrives, the greeter will introduce you.
- Either way, register your guest at the Membership table and get your special Button! Then make them feel welcome by introducing them to other people, showing them our Activity Fair tables with lots of fun and rewarding Eastside Audubon activities, and answering any questions they might have.
- When two people join whom you have introduced to Eastside Audubon, you win a T-shirt or Hat with our new EAS logo. It’s just that easy!
Go to the Program Night page and see what speaker and topic we are featuring this month. Then invite someone who is interested in this month's topic to join you for the 6:30 Activity Fair and Program Night.
Bring a Guest on a Field Trip
You can also win prizes and help the chapter grow by bringing a guest on a field trip, to a work party, or to any other event. Call the office at (425) 576-8805 and let them know about your guest so that, if they join, you get credit toward your T-shirt or Hat.
