Volunteer Once a Year

Birds

  • May - join a Birdathon team
  • May - help with our annual International Migratory Bird Festival at Marymoor Park in May
      • Join the committee
      • Help out on the day of the festival
  • May or September - help staff our native plant sale 
      • Help propagate plans for our sales
  • December - join a Christmas Bird Count team

Conservation

  • February - attend Environmental Lobby Day
  • Help with an activist workshop
  • September - participate in our Save Our Swifts project 
      • Monitor swifts
      • Train as a docent
      • Help with Swift Night Out

Events

  • January - help with our Annual Volunteer Dinner planning, setup and/or take-down in January
  • December - help with our Christmas Gift Wrap
