Movie Night Chair

Our library has several wonderful films from which to choose, and this is a great way to reach out to our members and the larger Eastside community.

You will be responsible for:

• Under the supervision of the Conservation and/or Education chairs, choosing the movies to show, and reserving the movies and room for that evening;
• Researching and finding new movies that would appeal to our audience and obtaining permission for public viewing;
  
• Drafting and sending the write-up to our publicity team each month (newsletter editor, publicity chair and web editor);\
• Obtaining all refreshments and setting up the kitchen and church for movie night;
  
• Hosting the movie and following discussion, if merited by the subject;

Volunteers must be able to work as a team member and share ideas openly with other Board members, staff and volunteers. Also, a willingness to actively participate in Chapter activities and to act as an Eastside Audubon ambassador is necessary. Strong initiative and decision-making skills are necessary for this position. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and a desire to help the Chapter succeed. We want someone who can jump right in and show leadership.
