Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is a key position in our organization.

We are in looking for a volunteer who enjoys working with people, and who would gain satisfaction in taking a leadership role with us. You must be self motivated, able to make decisions on your own, and willing and able to delegate. You must also be comfortable working with volunteers and able to learn what are the interests and skills of our volunteers.

1.  Attending all Program Meetings, and taking an active, visible role in the Chapter. 
2. Calling volunteers and discovering their interests and abilities.
3. Coordinating with the Events Coordinator and other leaders on special events to recruit and schedule volunteers;
4. Sending thank you notes to all volunteers after an event;
5. Organizing the volunteer thank yous at the Annual Dinner.

We will help you get started, and give you any backup you might need. In return for the intensive training we offer, we’re asking for a 2-year commitment.
