  • Bellevue Botanical Gardens 12001 Main Street Bellevue WA 98005 United States (map)

Join naturalist Kevin O’Malley for a 90-minute children’s birding class at Bellevue Botanical Garden. Limited to 10 children and their chaperones, this hands-on adventure introduces young birders to local species and their habitats. Kevin, known for his fun and engaging style, leads families through garden trails, teaching how to spot birds by sight and sound.

Children will practice identifying common birds and discovering the wonders of nature. Inspired by nature school values, the class encourages curiosity, respect, and connection to the outdoors. A perfect way to spark a lifelong love of birds and wild places. Sponsored by Eastside Audubon. For children ages 7 to 12.

Each child must have an adult chaperone.  One adult can supervise up to two children.

Class is free, but registration is required because space is limited.
