Western Washington Flycatchers Class - Field Trip
Flycatchers can be colorful and entertain birds to seek out. Large colorful, playful kingbirds to cute phoebes. They can also be the thing of birders nightmares to try and identify. The Empidonax, the look-a-like Tyrant flycatchers! Shudder!!
Flycatchers force the watcher to look beyond the looks and take in the whole picture. Using sound, ecology, and behavior, David is here to lend a hand, or ear, in this matter. Replace the fear with intrigue, as this group is truly rewarding.
Dates
This will be a two-part class, with an Online session and a Field Trip.
