Videographer

Objective:

Enhance Eastside Audubon’s social media presence by capturing and editing video content.

Position Overview:

Eastside Audubon organizes various events throughout East King County, including bird walks, community tabling events, Marymoor restoration projects, and in-person program nights. We are seeking a local videographer to create engaging video content that highlights our mission and activities. This volunteer will collaborate with the Communications Chair and assist on an as-needed basis, guided by the monthly social media calendar and organizational events.

This will be a great opportunity for an individual that is looking to learn and expand their skills around videography and social media content.

Responsibilities:

  • Availability of 2-5 hours per month.

  • Record and edit video footage of events and activities.

  • Work with the Communications Chair to align video projects with social media goals.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of video production techniques (send examples of work upon expression of interest)

  • Access to personal video equipment.

  • Experience creating social media reels.

  • Interest in birds and nature; willingness to join Eastside Audubon bird walks.
