Habitat Restoration at Marymoor Park
Habitat restoration events at Marymoor Park are the first Saturday of every month (excluding holidays) from 9 a.m. to noon. Meet by the kiosk in Parking Lot G. Parking pass, gloves, and tools are provided. Please wear clothing that can get dirty and hold up to physical labor such as thick pants and a long-sleeve shirt, and bring any water and snacks you may need. Closed-toed shoes are essential. The event will take place rain or shine so dress for the weather! We will break at about 11:45am to put away tools and sign out. At this time, we can also sign any paperwork if you need to track hours. If you need to leave early, just let us know and make sure to sign out. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Eastside Audubon office 425-576-8805 for more info To sign up for an event, click on the link below.
Pre-Program Night Work Party
Our native plant demonstration garden has been started and is now in need of some regular maintenance and care. Join us each month prior to our Program Nights, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to pick weeds, spread mulch, water, or do whatever else our garden seems to need. Keep in mind that daylight hours might be lacking in the winter months, so bring a headlamp and appropriate gear for the weather. Then we can all go in and enjoy the Program Night knowing that our garden is in order. Please bring gloves and any tools that you enjoy using for weeding.
