Morgan Sidoine is Eastside Audubon Photographer of the Month in April

Morgan Sidoine was named the Eastside Audubon Society Photographer in April for her photograph of a Common Merganser. This is the second time she has won the award.

The photo was shot at Newcastle Beach Park in Bellevue.

“I have been photographing birds since I was in high school and did a senior project on bird photography”, she says.

Morgan is particularly fascinated by the Merganser, explaining, "I love their colors, and I enjoy watching them fish with their heads underwater, speeding along."
