Eastside Audubon Board Member to Speak at National Ornithology Symposium

Eastside Audubon Youth Board member Song Han Ngo will be in the spotlight this fall as a Student Keynote Speaker at the Frontiers in Ornithology Student Symposium in Seattle on October 4, 2025.
The one-day event at the Mountaineers Seattle Program Center is for students ages 13–23 interested in ornithology, wildlife tracking, and conservation. Held in the western U.S. for the first time, it has drawn participants from across the country.
Ngo will share the stage with wildlife biologist Steve Hampton and avian researcher Lara Tseng. The symposium will feature seminars, a panel discussion, and opportunities for students to connect with leaders in conservation science.
Registration is limited to 150 students. Scholarships are available to help with costs and travel. The $40 fee includes lunch.
