Eastside Audubon is looking for volunteers to fill two positions.
Program Night Videographer
We want to make our monthly Program Nights available to people who can't attend in person. The videographer sets up the camera and audio, runs the livestream, and records the program for later viewing.
About eight Program Nights are scheduled at the Redmond Library this season. Plan to arrive about 45 minutes early for setup and stay about 30 minutes after for teardown. You can sign up for any or all dates. Experience with video recording, basic audio setup and livestreaming software such as OBS, Zoom or YouTube Live is helpful.
UX/UI Designer, Acoustic Monitoring
Our new cloud project collects data from acoustic recorders that monitor owls and other birds at local parks. We need a designer to refine the web pages where volunteers upload recordings, the screens where reviewers confirm bird calls, and the public site that shows what we've detected. You'll work with our developers and lead volunteers. A background in web design is ideal.
