The EAS interpretive kiosks at Marymoor Park have received a much-needed upgrade! All eight kiosk panels have been updated with new interpretive signs. This is a welcome update from our previous signage that hasn’t seen a renovation in many years.
The signs feature vibrant photography and cover a variety of topics including tips to help birds thrive, restoration work done by Eastside Audubon, and commonly seen birds at Marymoor. The kiosk also contains an updated map with helpful markers to aid visitors walking the Eastside Audubon Bird Loop.
These signs were a collaborative effort from the Marymoor Kiosk committee members. Committee members were Emily Kistler (committee lead and graphic design/sign creation), Jenna Cardoso (map creation), John Spilker (creative support and signage installation), Claire Waltman (creative support), and Doug Peeples (copywriting). A special thanks to Mick Thompson for providing photography for the signs.
If you’re in Marymoor Park, please stop by and check out the updated signs. The kiosks are located at the entrances to the Eastside Audubon Bird Loop. We’ll be holding an informal celebration for the updated kiosks on July 18th, 2026 at 10am. Registration is recommended to attend.
